Melanie Demers

Melanie Demers is a highly experienced scientist with a focus on cell biology and hematology, currently serving as Senior Scientist II at NuChem Sciences since May 2021. Previously, Melanie held roles at Sanofi and Bioverativ, where leadership in multidisciplinary programs and development of therapeutic molecules for sickle cell disease were key responsibilities. Melanie's expertise in microscopy and the evaluation of therapeutic compounds was further established during tenures at Biogen and Harvard Medical School, where significant contributions to preclinical research and training personnel were made. Melanie earned a PhD in Immunology-Virology from INRS-Institut Armand Frappier, enhancing a solid foundation for innovative research in blood disorders.
