Orly Hamoy has worked in a variety of research roles since 2009. Orly began their career as a Laborant in Tissue Culture at the Weizmann Institute of Science in 2009. In 2010, they joined Rosetta Green as a Research Associate, where they developed tissue culture skills in Tomato, Soybean and Rice, as well as stress and salinity experimental designs in several plants. In 2013, they joined Monsanto as a Research Associate, where they developed experimental design skills in Canola, Tomato, Corn and Tobacco seeds and plants, as well as molecular biology techniques such as in vivo and in vitro RNA and DNA extractions, PCR, qRT-PCR, Quantigene analysis and data analysis. Finally, in 2016, they joined Nucleix Ltd. as a Researcher.
Orly Hamoy received their B.Sc in Biochemistry and Food Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2010, having started their studies in 2006.
