Sepehr Jalali

Sepehr Jalali has a diverse work experience in academia and industry, specializing in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Deep Learning. Sepehr has held roles such as Lead Machine Learning/Computer Vision at Nuclera, Director at NikAI, Visiting Lecturer and Post-Doctoral Research Assistant at City, University of London, Associate Staff and Postdoctoral Research Associate at UCL, Honorary Research Associate at Moorfields Eye Hospital and King's College London, Team Lead/Senior Deep Learning Scientist at MediaTek, Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore, PhD Scholar Research Assistant at the Institute for Infocomm Research, and Research Engineer at the Image and Pervasive Access Lab. Their work has involved image-guided robotic retinal surgery, biologically inspired image classification, and using deep learning models to enhance visibility and locate tools in medical imaging.

Sepehr Jalali pursued their Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (Software) at the University of Isfahan from 2001 to 2006. Sepehr later obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they completed a Graduate Certificate in the Management of Technology program at the National University of Singapore in 2011.
