Mazen Rizk is an accomplished biotechnology professional with a strong background in research and entrepreneurship. As the Founder and CEO of Infinite Roots®, Mazen has been at the forefront of innovative food solutions since April 2018. Previous experience includes serving as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Atlantic Food Labs and working as a Research Scientist at Ohly, where Mazen contributed to the development of yeast-based products. Early career roles encompass refugee social work at Mümmelmansberg Schule, where Mazen assisted displaced families, and scientific research at the Institute of Technical Microbiology, focusing on microorganism isolation. An academic foundation includes a PhD in Biotechnology and Technical Microbiology from Hamburg University of Technology, alongside two degrees in Molecular Biology and Biology from Lebanese American University.
