Alan McIver

Alan McIver is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in application security and incident response. Currently serving as the Owner of Victory Laps since December 2021, Alan has developed a website and iOS application that consolidates over 20 motorsport series. In addition, Alan holds the position of Application Security Lead at Nucleus Financial, where responsibilities include managing security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management, notably achieving significant cost savings through a successful SIEM migration. Previous roles include Security Engineer at CMC Markets and Security Consultant at Capgemini, where Alan focused on security operations, incident response, and training, demonstrating a strong background in cybersecurity across various industries. Alan holds an NC in Computer Technology from UHI and has foundational education from Inverness Royal Academy.
