Evelyn McMullen has worked in a variety of roles since 2016. In that year, they began working as a Development Office Assistant at Emmanuel College in Boston. In 2018, they became a Lead Host and Trainer at Del Frisco's Restaurant Group, where they managed front of house operations, including new hire onboarding and training, and oversaw a team of 15. In 2019, they began working at WGBH as a Special Events Intern and Volunteer Coordinator, where they organized and executed events of 200 to 3,000 guests, coordinated and prepped teams of 5 to 50 volunteers for each event, and created promotional materials. That same year, they also began working at Nucleus Research as a Research Manager and Research Analyst, where they conducted Return on Investment analysis for technology deployments, particularly global ROI strategy within content management, collaboration, and talent management software areas.
Evelyn McMullen attended Emmanuel College (Boston) from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies. In 2018, they participated in a School of Education and Communication Exchange Program at Jönköping University, focusing on Mass Communication/Media Studies.
