Nicole McCloskey, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Nicole McCloskey, APRN, PMHNP-BC, has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Nicole began their career as a Registered Nurse at Lake Wales Medical Center in 2018 and later worked at Peace River Center for Personal Development, Inc. and Lakeland Regional Health-Florida in similar roles. In 2019, Nicole joined NORTHSIDE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CENTER, INC as a Registered Nurse and continued their tenure there until 2022. In 2020, they briefly worked as a Registered Nurse at Lakeland Regional Health-Florida.

Nicole's career progressed as they took on the role of an Intern PMHNP-S at Gracepoint Wellness in 2021. The following year, Nicole had multiple positions in various organizations. Nicole worked at Cerebral and Home Physicians Group as a Prescriber and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, respectively, from February to March 2022. Nicole then joined Nue Life Health as an Integrative Mental Health Practitioner in March 2022.

During the same year, they also earned a Diploma in Nursing Assistant/Aide and Patient Care Assistant/Aide from the same institution. Additionally, Nicole pursued studies in psychology at Nova Southeastern University.

Furthering their nursing education, Nicole enrolled at Keiser University in 2016 and completed an Associate Degree in Nursing with a specialization in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse in 2017. Nicole then went on to pursue a Masters of Science in Nursing degree from Wilkes University from 2018 to 2021, with a focus on becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

Continuing their professional development, Nicole obtained several certifications. In February 2021, they earned the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification from the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN). Additionally, in September 2012, Nicole became a Nationally Certified Psychiatric Technician, Level III through the American Association of Psychiatric Technicians.

Nicole's commitment to their field is also reflected in their recent education. In 2022, they attended the Integrative Psychiatry Institute to enhance their skills and knowledge in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy.
