André Paula Santos

André Paula Santos currently serves as the Head of EU Policy for Bioenergy at Nufarm since November 2023. Previously, André led EU policy initiatives at the EBB European Biodiesel Board from March 2016 to October 2023, focusing on lobbying efforts and stakeholder engagement within the European biodiesel industry. André's career includes roles such as Secretary General and President of the European Centre for Public Affairs 2.0, Public Affairs Advisor at UEIL, and Consultant at Dentons Global Advisors, where strategic advocacy and EU affairs were key responsibilities. André began his career with roles in legal advising, including at BAS - Sociedade de Advogados and Barrocas Advogados. André holds a Master’s Degree in Administrative Law and Public Procurement, as well as a degree in Law from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, complemented by an Erasmus exchange at KU Leuven.
