Sarah Jane Reed is a Senior Fellow at Nuffield Trust since February 2020, with prior experience as an Improvement Fellow at The Health Foundation and as Network and Policy Manager for NHS Clinical Commissioners within the NHS Confederation. Reed has expertise in strategic development and network management, particularly in health policy and frontline commissioning. Notably, as Programme Director at the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review, leadership focused on comparative effectiveness research and stakeholder engagement to enhance evidence-based practices in healthcare. Reed's early career included roles such as Programme Manager and Research Assistant at the LSE Department of Health Policy and a research placement with the Department of Health and Social Care, where significant work involved health system analysis and behavioral health programs. Educational qualifications include an MSc in International Health Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a B.A. in International Relations with a focus on Global Public Health from The George Washington University.
