Alan Davis

Alan Davis is the current Chief Product Officer at Nuheara. Prior to this, they were VP Engineering at Sensear from May 2012 to July 2015, where they were responsible for new product development and leadership of a multidisciplinary engineering team including industrial design, software, signal processing hardware and acoustical design and development. Some of their major projects include a heavy vehicle communication system, OEM Bluetooth industrial headset for tier 1 provider Motorola Solutions, and an ear plug based industrial communication system.

Before Sensear, Alan was Manager, Audio Signal Processing at Dolby Laboratories from February 2009 to May 2012. Alan was the engineering lead and project manager for key projects delivering next generation core audio processing technologies into tier 1 mobile phone and tablet vendors. Additionally, they managed a team of DSP engineers with responsibilities that included attraction, recruitment, performance appraisal, technical supervision and task assignment.

Alan Davis has a PhD in Digital Signal Processing (Speech Processing) from Curtin University and a BEng (Hons) in Electronic and Communication Engineering from Curtin University.

Alan Davis reports to John Robert Luna, Chief Executive Officer. They are on a team with Michelle Halle - Chief Operations Officer, Nick O'loughlin - Chief Innovation Officer, and Tony Sulsona - Vice President Sales and Marketing.
