Owen Buergler

Owen Buergler has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Owen currently holds the position of Head Quality Assurance at Numab Therapeutics AG since 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Head CQA Services at Vifor Pharma from 2020 to 2021, overseeing and managing various systems and providing support for regulatory compliance. Owen also worked as the GD Business Process Ownership Lead at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson from 2019 to 2020, responsible for process improvement and knowledge management.

Before these roles, Owen held multiple positions at Actelion from 2013 to 2019, including CD Operational Excellence Group Leader and CD Operational Excellence Officer, where they focused on enhancing operational processes. Owen also worked as a Clinical Development (CD) Process Integration Officer during this time.

Owen's earlier experience includes working as an Oncology Development QA - Quality Manager at Novartis from 2011 to 2013, where they ensured compliance with regulatory requirements and implemented quality improvement measures. Owen also worked as a Quality Management Systems Manager (Document Manager) at Bayer Consumer Care AG from 2009 to 2011, maintaining and reviewing the company's quality management system.

Prior to that, Owen worked in various roles at Novartis from 2006 to 2008, including Clinical Compliance Specialist and Auditing, and Fisher Clinical Services from 2005 to 2006, where they served as a Project Manager and Coordinator for the Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS).

Additionally, Owen has experience as a Mediaplaner and Project Manager at Dr. Schlegel Pharmamarketing AG from 2004 to 2005, and as a Computerized Systems Validation (CSV) Specialist at Roche from 2002 to 2003, supporting system owners in validating computerized systems.

Owen Buergler completed their general qualification for university entrance in Natural Sciences at MNG from 1988 to 1996. Owen then pursued a Master's degree in Molecular Biology at the University of Basel from 1997 to 2001.
