Filip Ilic

Filip Ilic has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Filip began their career at Telekom Srbija as an Optical Network Engineer and then moved on to Hyperoptic Ltd., where they first worked as a Network Engineer and Data Analyst before being promoted to Team Lead. After that, they joined QuantLabs d.o.o. as a Quantitative Analyst. More recently, they worked at Clarivate as a Data Engineer, focusing on data quality management and creating ETL processes. Currently, they are employed at numarics as a Data Engineer, where they have been involved in ETL/ELT process design, serverless technology using Google Cloud Functions, automation of KPI reports, and report building using Google Data Studio.

Filip Ilic earned a Master's degree in Quantitative Finance from the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Belgrade. Filip pursued this degree from 2019 to 2020. Before that, from 2010 to 2018, they obtained a Master's degree in Laser and Optical Engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade. In addition to their academic qualifications, Filip also holds certifications in Python programming. Filip received the "[PCAP-NP-31-02] PCAP – Certified Associate in Python Programming" certification from the Python Institute in August 2020, and the "[PCEP-30-01] PCEP – Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer" certification from the same institution in August 2020. Filip also obtained the "dbt Fundamentals" certification from dbt Labs in September 2022.
