Moritz Wollbrink

Moritz Wollbrink has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Moritz currently holds the position of Head of Innovation & Product – System at Numbat.Energy since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Technology Manager at the same company from May 2021 to November 2022.

Before joining Numbat.Energy, Moritz was an International Specialist at ACAM Aachen Center for Additive Manufacturing GmbH from February 2021 to August 2021.

From September 2015 to January 2021, Moritz held the position of Head of Business Unit Tool and Die Making at Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT. Moritz also worked as a Project Manager and Research Fellow at the same institute from August 2014 to January 2021.

Moritz's early work experience includes roles at Weidmüller Germany. Moritz served as a Sponsored Student from October 2008 to March 2014, a CNC Machine Operator from February 2008 to September 2008, and a Technical Apprentice from September 2004 to January 2008.

Moritz Wollbrink has an extensive education history in the field of mechanical engineering. Moritz obtained an Advanced Technical College Entrance Qualification in Mechanical Engineering from Lüttfeld Berufskolleg, Lemgo in 2008. Moritz then pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Paderborn University from 2008 to 2014.

Continuing their academic journey, Moritz enrolled in RWTH Aachen University in 2018 to pursue a Doctor's Degree in Production Engineering, which they are expected to complete by 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Moritz has also obtained additional certifications. Moritz completed a course in Agiles Projektmanagement from LinkedIn in April 2020. Moritz also holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification, which they obtained from RWTH International Academy in August 2015.
