Michael Desimone

Michael Desimone has an extensive work experience history in various leadership roles in the banking industry. Michael currently serves as a Director and Trustee at Webster Five. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Product Management at Numerated. From 2017 to 2021, Michael worked at People's United Bank, N.A. as a Segment Manager, where they provided strategic leadership and implementation for small business banking success. Before joining People's United Bank, they served as a Senior Vice President at United Bank, overseeing a team and collaborating with senior management to execute strategic initiatives. Michael also held roles at Square 1 Bank as a Vice President of Technology Banking and at Lighter Capital as a Senior Vice President of Risk and Underwriting. Michael also has previous experience at KeyBank as a Senior Vice President/Segment Credit Officer, leading and managing teams responsible for underwriting and managing large portfolios.

Michael Desimone has a diverse education history. Michael earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1999 to 2001. During the same time period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration from the same institution.

In 2004, Michael enrolled in Portland State University and completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Economics in 2007. Additionally, in 2004, they pursued a Graduate Certificate in Banking from Pacific Coast Banking School, which they completed in 2006.

In 2012, Michael attended Cornell University and achieved a Graduate Certificate in Managing for Execution.

To further enhance their professional skills, in 2019, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics From Data to Insights from Wharton Online.

On top of their academic achievements, Michael has also obtained various certifications. In October 2019, they completed the Excel Data Visualization Part 1: Mastering 20+ Charts and Graphs certification from LinkedIn. During the same time, they also completed the Excel PivotTables Part 1: Mastering PivotTables and PivotCharts certification from LinkedIn. In September 2019, they achieved the Process Improvement Foundations certification, also from LinkedIn.

Most recently, in November 2022, Michael completed the MEDDPICC Masterclass certification offered by MEDDICC.
