Duncan rapidly progressed through the firm and became an integral member of the successful healthcare team. Since 2018, Duncan has been working at Deutsche Numis as a Director Investment Banking, providing investment banking advice to public and private mid- and small-cap healthcare companies. Duncan has executed a broad range of transactions, including IPOs, M&A, and secondary fundraisings, demonstrating their expertise in the field.
Duncan Monteith holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Mathematics from the University of St Andrews, which they obtained in the period from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Portobello High School from 2000 to 2006. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Pharma-Biotech Product & Company Valuation from C.E.L.forpharma in 2017, a Corporate Finance Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments in 2013, and an Investment Operations Certificate from the same institution in 2012.
