Katie Memetovic-Bye

Katie Memetovic-Bye has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Katie has recently been working as the Assistant Director - Recreation and Culture at Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council since July 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Leisure and Health Manager at the same council from April 2021 to June 2023.

Before joining the council, Katie held the role of Commercial Manager at Culture Coventry starting from March 2019 until April 2021. During this time, they also worked as the Commercial and Business Partnerships Manager at CV Life and Culture Coventry from October 2018 to April 2021, managing the Ventures budget within Culture Coventry.

Reverting back to earlier experiences, Katie worked at Nuffield Health, starting as a Client Services Assistant in June 2010 and later serving as a Membership Administrator from May 2012 to December 2012. Katie then became a Customer Service Manager until June 2015 and ultimately held the position of Deputy General Manager from June 2015 to October 2018. Katie gained valuable skills in sales, marketing, and team management throughout their time at Nuffield Health.

Katie's earlier work experience includes a role as a Sales Assistant at Aurora Fashions Ltd (Warehouse, Oasis, Coast) from October 2008 to June 2010.

Katie Memetovic-Bye has a diverse education history. Katie pursued a Prince2 certification in Project Management at Coventry University in 2018. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2015, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Management and Leadership at the same institution. In 2010, they also obtained a Foundation degree in Sport and Fitness Management from Coventry University. Furthermore, they have completed their GCSE's and A-Levels at The Kingsley School in Leamington Spa, although the precise dates for this education are not provided.
