Idris Alshaya has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Idris currently holds the position of Senior Contract (Section Head) - Operations at National Unified Procurement Company "NUPCO," where they are responsible for overseeing operations. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Supply Planning (Section Head) - Operations at NUPCO, where they successfully initiated the Covid-19 Vaccination Program and managed its objectives and stakeholders.

Mr. Alshaya is also a Co-founder and Deputy Chairman of the Saudi Medical Supply Chain Assembly, a role they have held since 2020. In addition, they founded and served as the CEO of KAYAN CARE from January 2021 to April 2022.

Before their current roles, Mr. Alshaya worked at Security Forces Hospital - Riyadh as a Procurement Supply Planner. During their time there, they achieved significant improvements in reducing out-of-stock items and minimizing expired items. Prior to that, they held the position of Procurement Department Supervisor at Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Mishari Hospital, where they demonstrated strong leadership skills in managing procurement and planning functions. Idris was also responsible for achieving cost savings and increasing profitability through effective negotiations.

Idris Alshaya has a diverse education history. Idris attended IMD where they completed the Leading Digital Transformation Program. In addition, they obtained an Executive MBA from the Sulaiman AlRajhi School of Business, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Idris earned a Master's degree in Projects Management from Midocean University. Lastly, they received a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Riyadh Elm University, with a focus on Pharmaceutical Sciences.
