Kacper Szulecki

Research Professor Of International Climate Governance at Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI)

Kacper Szulecki is a prominent academic with extensive experience in political sociology and international climate governance. Currently serving as Professor II at the University of Oslo and Research Professor at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI), Kacper also holds the role of Adjunct Research Professor at NUPI's Center for Energy Research. Kacper has been an editorial board member and columnist for Kultura Liberalna since 2010, contributing insights on climate politics and various political topics. Previous positions include Research Coordinator and Founder at the Environmental Studies and Policy Research Institute, as well as a series of roles at the University of Oslo between 2014 and 2022. Kacper's global academic exposure includes visits to the European University Institute, the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, and DIW Berlin.
