Wrenn Yennie Lindgren

Wrenn Yennie Lindgren is a distinguished Senior Research Fellow and Head of the Center for Asian Research at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs, where the tenure began in 2013. In addition to ongoing roles as a Guest Lecturer and Exam Evaluator at Nord University and an Associate Research Fellow at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs since 2016, Wrenn has contributed as a Guest Researcher at Meiji University and a Japan Studies Fellow with the Japan Foundation from 2018 to 2019. Previous experience includes consulting as a Language and Communication Consultant, instructing English and Japanese, and serving as a Student Fellow at the Norwegian Institute for Defence Studies. An academic background includes a Ph.D. in International Relations from Stockholm University and multiple master's degrees focused on Asia and Middle East Studies, International Policy, and Japanese language studies.
