Jennifer Beckstead has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jennifer began their career as a College Intern at The Clorox Company, where they studied the biochemical applications of enzymes in laundry detergents and designed experiments for new laundry products. Jennifer then worked as an Audio/Visual Technical Support at UC Santa Barbara- Media Equipment, providing technical support in the field of audiovisual equipment.

In 2001, Jennifer joined Children's Hospital Oakland Research Institute as a Senior Research Associate, where they played a crucial role in designing and executing structural and functional studies of apolipoproteins. Jennifer managed a team of 10+ laboratory personnel and coordinated laboratory operations, including ordering reagents and equipment.
