Lead Embedded/DSP Engineer at Nura

Alex Low has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Alex started their career as an Electronic Engineer at Bitwise Co., Ltd, where they designed hardware schematics and software interfaces for various electronic devices. Alex then worked as a Tutor at RMIT University before joining Bitwise International Pty Ltd as a Project Engineer, where they worked on PCB design issues and prototyped a portable electronic device. Alex then joined Wolfson Microelectronics (Acquired by Cirrus Logic) as a DSP Engineer, focusing on noise cancellation and speech enhancement algorithms for mobile devices. Alex continued their work as a DSP Engineer at Cirrus Logic, where they specialized in audio solutions for consumer electronics. Alex then joined ATOMOS as a Senior System Engineer, leading a standalone R&D project to design high dynamic range (HDR) products. Currently, Alex works at nura headphones as the Lead Embedded/DSP Engineer.

Alex Low completed their Diploma in Electronic and Computer Engineering at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Following this, they enrolled at RMIT University where they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering from 2005 to 2008. Alex then pursued further education at RMIT University and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from 2008 to 2011.
