Brian Keogh's work experience begins in 2002 when they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at TCD, where they conducted research on autoimmune and inflammatory models. Their work during this time led to the development of patents that formed the basis for the founding of Opsona Therapeutics. From 2005 to 2007, Brian worked as a Senior Scientist at Opsona Therapeutics, where they delivered in-house in vivo models and supervised external models carried out by CROs and academic partners. Brian also contributed to IP and patent generation and mentored junior laboratory members. From 2007 to 2010, Brian served as the Group Leader In Vivo Pharmacology at Opsona Therapeutics, executing all internal in vivo models, supervising external collaborators and CROs, and preparing reports for strategic planning. From 2010 to 2019, Brian held the position of Research Leader Immunology at Opsona Therapeutics, where they led pre-clinical research on antibody and small molecule drug development programs. Brian also provided scientific support for clinical trials, drafted and finalized research publications and presentations, and supported IND filings and patent applications. In 2012, Brian worked as a Tutor at Trinity College Dublin, and their most recent role, from 2019 to present, is as the Head of Biology at Nuritas.
Brian Keogh completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from Maynooth University between 1994 and 1998. Brian then pursued a Ph.D. degree at the University College Dublin from 1998 to 2002. In 2012, Brian attended the Institute of Project Management and obtained a Diploma in Project Management. The specific field of study for both the Ph.D. and BSc degrees was not provided.
