Sanja Trajkovic

Sanja Trajkovic has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sanja started their career in 2002 as a Specialist in Toxicological Chemistry at the National Center for Poisoning Control, where they focused on developing and optimizing bioanalytical methods for the measurement of opioids and other substances in biological samples. During this time, they gained expertise in spectroscopy, chromatography, and the use of mass spectrometry.

In 2006, Sanja joined the University of Kentucky as a Ph.D. student and Graduate Teaching Assistant. Sanja'sresearch projects primarily focused on utilizing mass spectrometry for qualitative and quantitative proteomics, as well as developing and optimizing bioanalytical methods for various biological markers. Sanja also gained experience in molecular biology techniques, microbiology skills, and assay development.

In 2015, Sanja transitioned to Alltech, where they served as a Senior Analytical Chemist and Lab Manager. Sanja'sresponsibilities included overseeing the analytical laboratory and managing a team. Sanja also continued to utilize their expertise in mass spectrometry and bioanalytical methods.

Most recently, Sanja joined Nuritas in 2017 as Head of Proteomics and Analytical Science. In this role, they are responsible for leading the proteomics and analytical science team.

Throughout their career, Sanja Trajkovic has consistently demonstrated their expertise in mass spectrometry, bioanalytical methods, and analytical chemistry. Sanja'sexperience in both academic and industry settings makes their a valuable asset to any organization in the field.

Sanja Trajkovic holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from the University of Kentucky, which they obtained from 2006 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physical Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physical Chemistry from the University of Belgrade, although the specific years are not provided. In addition to their formal education, Sanja has obtained several certifications, including "Fundamentals of Project Management" and "Leadership, Team-Building and Coaching Skills" from Fred Pryor Seminars and CareerTrack in August 2015 and July 2015 respectively. Sanja also holds an "Occupational First Aider QQI/FETAC level 5" certification from Advanced National Training Services Ltd, which they obtained in September 2016.
