Kai Simberg

Kai Simberg has an extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Starting in 2000, they worked at Vattenfall Sähkönmyynti Oy as a Financial Director and Business Controller. Kai then moved on to SATO Oyj as a CFO in 2004. From 2005 to 2014, they worked at Blue1 Oy, where they held the position of CFO and Vice President of Finance and Administration. During this time, they spearheaded the development and governance of the company, implementing successful turnaround programs. In 2015, Kai Simberg became the CFO at Relais Group Oy. Kai then worked as an Interim CFO at Tilgmann Group in 2016, leading a project to transform the finance function of the group. In 2018, they took on two roles simultaneously, serving as the CFO at Axopar Boats and the Interim CFO at Evondos Oy. Kai played a significant role in establishing financial processes and risk management, among other responsibilities. From 2020 to 2021, they worked at Nurminen Logistics as an Interim CFO, focusing on implementing financial initiatives and improving the company's balance sheet structure. Finally, in 2021, they joined 9Lives Group as an Interim CFO, where they enhanced financial reporting and led integration projects. Recently, in 2022, they returned to Nurminen Logistics as an Interim CFO.

Kai Simberg completed their Master of Economic Sciences in Economics at Åbo Akademi University from 1979 to 1984.
