Jodi Hilton

Jodi Hilton is an experienced photojournalist with a diverse portfolio spanning over two decades. Currently, Jodi operates a personal photography and writing business while serving as a writer/photographer for Partners In Health. Additional contributions include being a freelance photographer for The New York Times and The Washington Post, along with participation as a contributing photographer for NurPhoto. Jodi has been recognized with grants for investigative reporting from Journalism Grants EU and Minority Rights Group International, and previously received funding from National Geographic. Academic involvement includes teaching photo and video journalism at the American University in Bulgaria. Jodi holds a Master’s degree in Photojournalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Colorado College, with additional studies in Art History, Photography, and Film in Florence, Italy.
