Alyssa Coburn started their work experience in 2002 as a Client Services Representative at The Allant Group. Alyssa then worked as a Marketing Intern at Diners Club Australia in 2003. From 2007 to 2008, Alyssa worked as an English, Drama, and Integrated Learning Teacher at Loreto Normanhurst. In 2009, they became the Tutoring Director at Nurturing Wisdom Tutoring, and then moved on to become the Director of Learning and Development from 2012 to 2016. Currently, they hold the position of Owner and Chief Learning Officer at Nurturing Wisdom Tutoring.
Alyssa Coburn pursued their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Illinois Wesleyan University from 1998 to 2002. During their time at the university, Alyssa focused on Theatre and also completed a minor in English. After their undergraduate studies, they went on to attend the University of Sydney from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Education, specializing in Secondary English and Drama.
