Stephen Shoemaker

Stephen Shoemaker is an experienced educator currently serving as an Academic and Test-Prep Tutor at Nurturing Wisdom Tutoring and a Substitute Teacher with Chicago Public Schools, both since August 2022. Prior to these roles, Stephen worked as a Teaching Assistant at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo for both the English Department and the Theatre and Dance Department, contributing to curriculum development and classroom management for large courses. Additional experience includes serving as an Assistant House Manager at San Luis Obispo Repertory Theatre, a Research Intern at TASC, and in guest services at Merlin Entertainments. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, completed in 2022.
