Anna Royal

Anna Royal is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in instrumentation and controls (I&C) within the nuclear power sector. Currently serving as both I&C Engineer and Nuclear IV&V Engineer at NuScale Power since January 2020, Anna contributes to small modular reactor projects. Prior experience includes roles as I&C Design Engineer at TRS/Fluor Corporation, where involvement in the Dominion Greensville County combined-cycle natural gas power station project occurred, and as I&C Systems Engineer at AREVA NP, focusing on the US EPR Project and OL3 European EPR Project, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Anna holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
