Freeda Ahmed

Freeda Ahmed is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the nuclear industry. Currently serving as a Licensing Engineer at NuScale Power since March 2022, Freeda previously held multiple roles at General Atomics, Inc., including Project Engineer and positions in Business Development and Engineering. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Canberra Industries as an Associate Radiation Safety Officer and Speciality Systems Solutions Engineer, collaborating with government officials to ensure compliance with radiological regulations. Freeda began the professional journey as an Apprentice Health Physics at SCANA. Freeda holds a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from North Carolina State University.
