Michael Schmorleitz, SPHR, CEBS, serves as the Manager of Benefits and Compensation at NuScale Power since July 2016, where the company focuses on advanced nuclear reactor technology. Prior experience includes managerial roles in benefits, compensation, HRIS, and health services at South Texas Project Nuclear Operating Company, and human resources at URENCO Group, where significant contributions to the nuclear energy sector were made. Earlier roles included account executive at HealthSmart, benefit plan client executive at Dell, and various management positions at Aetna Inc. Michael’s educational background includes a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist designation from The Wharton School, and a Master of Science in Management from Southern Nazarene University, along with a BA from California State University, Fresno, and an Associate's degree in Energy Technology/Nuclear Technician from New Mexico Junior College.
