Shawn Pope

Shawn Pope has extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity and information technology, currently serving in multiple roles including Threat Research and Security Engineer at Nuspire since May 2015. Prior to this, Shawn held the position of Technical Security Engineer at Cadre Information Security for a brief period in 2015 and worked as a Systems Administrator at Journey Systems, LLC from June 2008 to April 2015. Beginning a career in technical support as a Computer Technician at Staples from November 2007 to June 2008, Shawn developed a solid foundation in troubleshooting and repairing computer systems. Educationally, Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a concentration in Security from Western Governors University and an Associate degree in Computer Networking Systems from ITT Technical Institute-Norwood. The educational background is complemented by a high school diploma from Western Brown High School.
