Stefan Thiel

Stefan Thiel is a seasoned professional in the field of light technology and business development. Currently serving as Business Development Manager at NUSSLI Group since August 2021, Stefan previously held the same title at Zumtobel Group from February 2017 to August 2021. Prior to that, Stefan worked as a consultant, developer, and assessor at stlighting from March 2008 to August 2021. Stefan began academia as a Research Associate at Technische Universität Berlin from April 2006 to February 2011, focusing on light management systems, daylight technology, light measurement technology, and lighting planning, while also teaching fundamental subjects related to light technology. Stefan obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from Technische Universität Berlin between 1999 and 2005.
