Gowrisudha Adusumilli

Gowrisudha Adusumilli has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and development. Gowrisudha is currently serving as a Principal Scientist at Nutcracker Therapeutics since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Denali Therapeutics from 2019 to 2022, first as a Senior Scientist and then as a Scientist. Gowrisudha also worked at Maxygen as an Associate Scientist from 2016 to 2019. Before that, they were an R&D Associate at both Altravax, Inc. from 2013 to 2016 and MedImmune from 2006 to 2012. Gowrisudha'srole at MedImmune involved developing and optimizing protein purification processes for recombinant protein subunit vaccines. Gowrisudha also screened resins and generated affinity resins for protein purification. In their early career, they worked as a Process Technologist at Bharat Biotech International Ltd. from 1999 to 2001, where they performed downstream processing for vaccine purification. Gowrisudha began their career as a Research Assistant at BOSE Research Institute in 1998, where they assessed the variations of rice cultivars at agro morphological and molecular levels.

From 1996 to 1999, Gowrisudha Adusumilli obtained a Masters degree in Biotechnology from Acharya Nagarjuna University.
