Josh Lanners

Josh Lanners has extensive experience in the field of IT operations and security. Josh is currently the Director of IT Operations & Security at Nutcracker Therapeutics, where they lead a team responsible for the information security and IT program of a biotech start-up. Their role includes overseeing enterprise security, security operations, security architecture, identity and access management, vulnerability management, network security, security compliance, vendor selection and management, and IT infrastructure. Josh reports directly to the Senior Director of IT, manages a budget of $2 million, and assists in preparing executive and board reports. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Manager of IT Infrastructure & Operations at Nutcracker Therapeutics.

Before joining Nutcracker Therapeutics, Josh worked at MyoKardia as the Manager of Digital Capability Management Cloud Services. Josh also worked at Nevro as the Manager of Facilities & IT Systems and as a Senior IT Systems Engineer. At Imperva, Josh held the position of Information Security Engineer and Systems Administrator. Josh also gained experience as a Systems Engineer at Keynote Systems and as a Server/Network Engineer and Team Lead - Network Help Desk at Taylor Corporation. Josh's work experience also includes being a Student Supervisor at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in various areas such as infrastructure management, information security, and network services.

Josh Lanners obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Minnesota State University, which they attended from 2004 to 2007.
