Rebecca Scotland, Ph.D., is a seasoned expert in biotechnology and molecular pharmacology with extensive experience in research and product development. Currently serving as the Director of Research and Innovation at Nutrafol since July 2021, Rebecca has spearheaded advancements in hair care technology, including patent-pending exosome and cyclotide innovations. As the founder of Auviva from July 2014 to January 2020, Rebecca led the development and commercialization of peptide technology, securing global intellectual property and achieving significant annual revenue. Previous roles include Director of Business Development at Aspira Scientific, where Rebecca explored new technologies and market strategies, and Senior Scientist at Transposagen Biopharmaceuticals, focusing on genetic engineering and stem cell technologies. Rebecca’s academic background includes a Ph.D. in Molecular and Biomedical Pharmacology from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.
