Laura Siltala has a diverse range of work experience. Laura started their career as a Salesperson at Stockmann and later worked as an Accounting Assistant at Tilitoimisto A-Palvelu Oy. Laura then transitioned to the PR industry by working as a PR & Communications Coordinator at Sugar Helsinki, where they gained experience in tracking media coverage, producing press releases, and working closely with clients, press, and influencers.
Laura's interest in influencer marketing led their to work as a Junior Producer at Indiedays, where they gained valuable insight into influencer marketing and managed the production of marketing campaigns on blogs and other social media platforms. Laura also worked as a Social Media Producer at Indiedays, where they participated in launching and refining three blog portal brands.
In their role as a Communications Coordinator at Suomen Mentorit ry, a non-profit organization, Laura developed and implemented the organization's communications and social media marketing strategy. Laura also managed project management, content creation, website management, paid advertisement campaigns, and event production.
Laura then joined Hookle, a SaaS start-up, as a Marketing, Communications, and Community Manager. In this role, they established the start-up's marketing function, created blog and social media content, managed digital marketing campaigns, optimized the company website, and managed press relations and event marketing.
Currently, they are working at NutraQ as a Commercial Content Manager, responsible for developing and executing effective digital marketing campaigns and creating content for various marketing channels. Laura drives sales through digital marketing strategies such as social media marketing, native advertising, and email marketing.
Throughout their career, Laura has gained experience in digital marketing, content creation, social media management, event production, and managing stakeholder relationships.
Laura Siltala has a diverse education history. Laura began their studies at Ressun lukio from 2008 to 2011 but did not earn a degree. Laura then pursued a degree in Fashion Marketing at Helsinki Design School from 2013 to 2014. Laura continued their education at the University of Vaasa, where they completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Marketing Management from 2012 to 2018. Additionally, they attended Sungkyunkwan University in 2015, focusing on Business Administration and Management. Furthermore, to enhance their skills, Laura obtained the Digital Marketing Level 1 Credential from General Assembly in October 2017.
