Chris Trobacher, PhD, CCA has extensive work experience in the research and communication field. Chris has held positions at NutriAg Ltd. since 2013, starting as a Senior Plant Physiologist and advancing to become the Senior Director of Research and Communication. In these roles, they have been involved in the development and testing of new products, organizing research trials, and providing training seminars to distributors and growers. Prior to their work at NutriAg Ltd., Chris worked at the University of Guelph as a Research Associate, Graduate Teaching Assistant, and NSERC Research Assistant. Chris also gained experience as a QC Immunology Advanced Technician at Aventis Pasteur.
Chris Trobacher, PhD, CCA completed their education at the University of Guelph. Chris obtained a HBSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics from 2000 to 2002. Continuing their studies at the same university, they received a Master of Science (MSc) in Botany/Plant Biology from 2003 to 2005. Finally, they achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Botany/Plant Biology from 2005 to 2010. Furthermore, Chris Trobacher has additional certifications including being a Certified Crop Adviser for the province of Ontario, obtained in December 2017, and an Ontario Exterminator License for Greenhouse, obtained in August 2014.
