Safety Instrumented System (sis) Gatekeeper at Nutrien

Kendell Garnett has extensive experience in engineering, primarily focusing on instrumentation and controls, safety systems, and project management within the chemical and oil and gas industries. Currently serving as the Safety Instrumented System Gatekeeper at Nutrien since October 2018, Kendell provides expertise in the functional and integrity requirements of Safety Instrumented Systems and Burner Management Systems for multiple ammonia and urea plants. Previous roles include Senior Engineer and Project Manager at Nutrien, Specialist Instrumentation & Controls Engineer III at BHP, and Instrumentation and Control Engineer at WorleyParsons. Kendell also has significant experience from positions at Proman and Sylvester Engineering Limited. Kendell holds a BSc. in Electrical & Computer Engineering and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Engineering Asset Management at the University of the West Indies.
