Nutrition International
Laureta Lucas is a seasoned nutrition professional with extensive experience in program development and planning. Currently serving as a Senior Program Officer for Nutrition International since November 2016, Laureta focuses on enhancing nutrition services to improve maternal and child health through the ENRICH project. Prior to this role, Laureta worked as a Senior Program Officer for 2COUNSENUTH from December 2013 to November 2016, providing technical support for the Mwanzo Bora Nutrition Program, addressing maternal anemia and childhood stunting. Laureta's earlier experience includes serving as a Nutrition Officer at Muhimbili National Hospital and working as a Nutritionist on Harvard research projects. Laureta holds a Master's Degree in Public Health from Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences and a Bachelor's Degree in Home Economics and Human Nutrition from Sokoine University of Agriculture.
