The team members have a variety of backgrounds, including a degree in biology from Cornell University and a degree in public health nutrition from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. The team's experience includes working as the director of public health and animal agriculture at the Humane Society of the United States and Humane Society International.
