Rakesh Malhotra

Rakesh Malhotra has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Their career began in 1999 as Managing Architect at MediaServ, followed by roles at Microsoft Corporation from 2002 to 2012. At Microsoft, they held the positions of Principal Group Program Manager Cloud and Datacenter Management, and Principal Lead Program Manager - Enterprise Storage Division. In 2012, they joined Apprenda as Senior Vice President of Products and Engineering, and Vice President of Products, before the company was acquired by Atos. Rakesh also served as Advisor at Backtrace I/O and ScaleXtreme in 2016 and 2018 respectively. In 2018, they co-founded and became Managing Partner at Nuvalence.

Rakesh Malhotra attended the University of Waterloo from 1994 to 1999 and graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering. Prior to that, they attended KCI from 1989 to 1994.
