Jeffrey Joyce has over 30 years of experience in the field of research and innovation. Currently, they are the Vice President for Research and Innovation at Nuvance Health. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Programs at Florida State University College of Medicine, where they oversaw various research programs and managed a budget of $4.6 million. Jeffrey also worked as the Vice President for Research at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, responsible for the administration and management of the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs. Before that, Jeffrey was the Director of Research at Maricopa Integrated Health System, where they developed and supervised research grants and contracts. Jeffrey has also held positions at Arizona State University, Medical Research, Sun Health Research Institute, Arizona Parkinson's Disease Center, and University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Throughout their career, they have made significant contributions to the field of neurodegenerative disorders research, particularly in Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.

Jeffrey Joyce obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Philosophy and Psychology from Illinois State University, attending from 1970 to 1973. Jeffrey then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology Cognate at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, studying from 1974 to 1977. Jeffrey furthered their education by attending the University of Florida from 1978 to 1983, where they obtained a Ph.D. degree in Physiological Psychology/Neuroscience.
