John Nelson

John Nelson currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Community, Government, and Public Relations at Nuvance Health, a position held since April 2019. Previously, John held the role of Director of Public and Community Affairs at both Nuvance Health and Health Quest from May 2014 to April 2019. Before these roles, John worked as the Local Editor at Poughkeepsie Journal from 2007 to April 2014. John holds a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre from Ohio University (1993-1996) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre/Theater and English from the University of Nebraska at Kearney (1989-1993).
