Scott Ezell

Scott Ezell has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Scott is currently serving as the Senior Director of Translational Medicine at Nuvation Bio since March 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Translational Medicine at the same company from May 2021 to March 2023. Before joining Nuvation Bio, Scott worked as a Principal Data Scientist at ConcertAI from September 2020 to April 2021. Scott was also a Principal Scientist at Valo from April 2018 to September 2020. Scott's experience also includes working as a Biological Data Scientist at IBM Watson Health from April 2016 to April 2018, where they worked with major pharmaceutical companies on data analytics solutions using unstructured data and machine learning. Scott has also served as a Lead Biologist at Pharmacyclics, an AbbVie Company, and Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc., an Amgen subsidiary, where they worked on oncology drug discovery programs and managed contract research organizations. Scott's early career includes a role as a Postdoctoral Scientist at AstraZeneca from July 2013 to December 2014.

Scott Ezell has a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol, followed by a PhD in Biochemistry from Tufts University. Scott then pursued a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Molecular Biology at Harvard Medical School - Massachusetts General Hospital.
