Aaron Kipnis

Aaron Kipnis serves as the Managing Director and Head of Business Strategy and Transformation at Nuveen, a TIAA company, since October 2023, focusing on risk reduction and scaling operations within post-trade and asset servicing functions. Previously, Aaron held various leadership roles at BlackRock from July 2002 to October 2023, including Director and Global Head of Asset Operations, overseeing a team to ensure accuracy in securities holdings and manage technology and custodian relationships. Additional roles at BlackRock involved directing investment operations and leading software development teams for the Aladdin platform. Earlier in the career, Aaron worked at JP Morgan, where responsibilities included supporting securities lending operations and corporate finance analysis. Aaron holds a BA in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh, achieved in 1998.
