Shemer Katz

Shemer Katz is the current Global Innovation Officer at Nuvei. Shemer has also held the position of SVP HR Digital Payments and Managing Director Israel at the company from September 2019 to May 2022. Prior to that, they were with SafeCharge from January 2012 to September 2019, where they served as Chief of Product, Marketing, People, and Managing Director Israel.

At SafeCharge, Shemer was a member of the executive management team that took the company public on the LSE, TSX, and NASDAQ exchanges. Shemer led the product and marketing teams responsible for strategic product planning, competitive analysis, branding, advertising, and go-to-market planning and implementation. Shemer also spoke at various industry events. In their role as Chief of People, Shemer was responsible for leading global people operations for 950 staff in 20 countries. Shemer also served on the board of directors for SafeCharge Israel, CreditGuard, Simplex Israel, and Simplex Lithuania.

Shemer has a wealth of experience in both the public and private sectors. Her experience in fintech and digital payments is unparalleled. Shemer is a strategic thinker who is able to see the big picture and make decisions that are in the best interest of the company.

Shemer Katz has a M.Sc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University as well as a B.Sc from the same school in the same field.
