Tanner Pederson

Tanner Pederson has a diverse work experience. Tanner started their career in 2012 at RRCNET as a Network Technician, where they maintained WAN infrastructure, deployed wireless receivers, set up networks, and troubleshooted PC hardware and software until 2015. In 2015, they worked as a Package Handler at UPS. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Technology Solution Specialist at Nuvera, troubleshooting computer software and hardware, configuring network equipment, and providing technology-related consultations to customers. Tanner then worked as a Senior IT Field Services Technician at Nuvera from 2017 to 2021, wherein they troubleshooted computer/network related issues, configured/managed routers, switches, APs, and firewalls, administered domain controllers and server infrastructure, and managed email clients. Currently, they are a Sales Engineer at Nuvera, responsible for managing the company's technology portfolio and designing custom tailored IT solutions.

Tanner Pederson attended Alexandria Technical and Community College from 2014 to 2016, earning an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Computer and Voice Networking. In addition to their degree, Tanner has obtained several certifications. Tanner has an Understanding of Cisco Network Devices certification from Cisco, obtained in February 2020. In May 2016, they received a PC Hardware Repair certification from NOCTI. Tanner has also earned a Small Business Technical Overview certification from Cisco in July 2022. Furthermore, they hold several certifications from CompTIA, including a CompTIA A+ ce Certification obtained in March 2019, a CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable Certification obtained in November 2020, and a CompTIA Network+ ce Certification obtained in November 2020. Lastly, they are a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and earned the CCNA certification in December 2019.
