Dirk Scharn

Dirk Scharn is currently the Director, Head of in vitro PK at Nuvisan Pharma Services since October 2020. Prior to this role, Dirk was the Research Laboratory Head at Boehringer Ingelheim RCV GmbH & Co KG from September 2010 to October 2020. Before that, Dirk worked as a Study Director at Econ Pharma AG and as a senior scientist at Jerini AG. Dirk has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Throughout their career, Dirk has been involved in various research and development projects in the field of DMPK, metabolite-ID, DDI, and PK/PD support for pharmaceutical compounds. Dirk's expertise includes quantitative PK/PD projections, process improvement, setting up new assays, and working with CROs and clients.
