Maike Marczenke is an Associate Scientist at Nuvisan since September 2022, specializing in therapeutic and cross indication research with a focus on iPSC-based cellular systems for drug development. Previous experience includes marketing and event support at LabTwin, where Maike organized international conferences and created scientific marketing content. As a PhD student at the Max Delbrück Center, Maike conducted research on SHH co-receptors in brain development using mouse models and iPSCs. Maike also completed an internship in drug target discovery at Bayer Pharmaceuticals and established a disease model for atrial fibrillation during a master's thesis at the Max-Planck Institute. Educational qualifications include a PhD from Freie Universität Berlin and master's and bachelor's degrees in molecular biomedicine and molecular biology, respectively.
