Bob Pawlowski

Bob Pawlowski has worked in the software engineering industry since 1999. Their work experience includes roles such as Software Development Lead at Comanage, Principal Engineer at Nokia, Sr. Software Engineer at Haley Systems, Chief Architect at TalkShoe, Principal Engineer at Penthera Partners, VP of Engineering & Development at Vinomis Laboratories, Co Founder and Principal Engineer at WebCleats Consulting Group, Chief Technology Officer at WeSpeke, Software Engineering Lead and Software Development Manager at M*Modal, and Software Engineering Manager at NuvoAir. At WeSpeke, they were the lead inventor and developer of software to create English language learning lessons from text and video sources using Natural Language Processing. Bob used Python, Pandas, Pyramid, and SQLAlchemy to create data analysis tools with a web interface and implemented and deployed an AWS Lambda service in Python that used OneSignal to send push notification to mobile devices and web browsers.

Bob Pawlowski received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 1989. Bob then went on to receive their Master of Science in Electrical/Computer Engineering from the same university in 1992. In 2015, they obtained the Cloudera Developer Training for Apache Spark certification from Cloudera, Inc. and in 2020, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
